victimisation towards certain members of the club,differant rules for differant people

Thanks to all the people i have played with over the 6 years it has been a pleasure,but it is time to leave the club ,admittedly i damaged the boards whilst drunk and by damaged i mean i wrote four names on the board in chalk while playing pool ,which i am supposed to pay £240.00 for and if not am banned for 3months from the club and all facillities as for apologising in writing to the commitee thats not happening the boards have been damaged before with dave owens name actually scraped off,course of action by the commitee NONE smacks of victimisation to me,also i did apoligise to the vice captain verbally ,but we all know this is one man's crusade commitees can be coerced ,thanks lads nero ,tony i'll miss you xx and by the way i think i took this rather well,kind regards the growler

Glenn. The fine imposed was not £240, as I sent the emails and communications on behalf of the committee I want to clarify, it's half of £240. Two members were asked to contribute £120 each. The boards are clearly scratched you can still see the names. The surface is Quite soft and not meant to be written on. Yes the majority of the chalk scores on the Drummond board are for pool scores however Paul Gilbert's name separately written on the Lady Captains board as the "2011 Lady Captain" was done purposefully.
With respect to Dave Owens name being removed it was not done by members. The full name was removed by myself as one of the letters was damaged late last year with the staff resting equipment on the wall. Dave's details are being re done currently as are a few other ongoing updates. Nothing untoward has happened with this name.

Just want to ensure other members are not misled by your post.

ok matt ,that was handy that the staff damaged the boards,nice to see how quickly the commitee fixed that board,so where did you get your estimate of £240.00 from may i ask as i have not been shown a bill or anything. kind regards glenn
