Congratulations to Jane for winning the Middlesex 5 Club on Sunday! It's amazing how it concentrates your mind only being able to use a limited amount of clubs on the fairway.....although clearly Jane needn't worry about the other 9 clubs that you are allowed in your bag!! I look forward to supporting her in the August final...wherever it may be!

I second Mandy's comment. Billie played a cracking game on Sunday, particularly given the really icy conditions. It was a tough round but she made it look easy and it was a real pleasure to watch. Well done Billie!

Well done to Billie for a fantastic game on Sunday. With a score of 40 points and a handicap cut of 2 to 22, us mere mortals who trailed behind by 9 points can only watch in awe at her improved swing and perfect putting! Way to go girl!!

I don't know............... I pop off to Africa for a few weeks and come back to find out I have been cut! Thanks for that - I'm going to have to work hard to get any POTY points this season! HAPPY NEW YEAR all x

Hello and Happy New Year to all Trent Park Ladies! It was a great medal game on Sunday and it was equally great that, despite some wayward scoring on a few holes, there were some handicap cuts. Well done indeed to Diane on being cut by 2.
Also, as a result of an annual review, the following players have had their handicap cut by the committee: well done to Andrea (cut to 16.5, playing off 17), Bernadette (cut to 25.9, playing off 26) and Christina (cut to 28.7, playing off 28).

Congratulations to our Lady Captain, Mandy for winning the medal comp on the weekend. All three of us had great games; we all had our handicaps cut – Di by TWO! Well done Di. Mandy's now hot on president Lynwyn's heals to be the top female player in the club. Watch out Lynwyn. Thanks Mandy and Di for the great company, as ever. Looking forward to this coming week. It's going to be a great year!

Congratulations to Andrea for winning the Turkey Shoot. Despite the interesting weather (it snowed on the 8th!), she returned a great score of 36, with myself and Billie limping behind with more modest scores!
Some of us are playing during the festive season, but if I don't see you I hope you have a great Christmas and Happy New Year. I look forward to seeing you for the January medal on the 8th.

Hi Ladies. I am honoured to be the Lady Captain and having seen what a great job Breda has done, I hope I can live up to her standards. Thanks Breda, you have been a great support to me during my Vice Captaincy, offering advice and encouragement when I have needed it!
My objectives for the year are simple: to run a fun and competitive fixture for players of all levels and to promote women's golf at the club and encourage women to join and participate in our competitions.
From the discussion and feedback from our AGM, I am confident that I have a good team behind me and that there are like minded players in our section that are already coming up with great ideas as to how we can move Trent Park Ladies forward!
I am also looking forward to working with Billie our Lady Vice Captain, Dave Berkoff, our new Club Captain and the rest of the club committee in what will, hopefully, be an enjoyable year ahead.

Hi Ladies, now that our handover is complete, just to say a further huge thank you for the last year. You were all brilliant. Many, many thanks for my present, it is beautiful and exactly what I would have chosen for myself! Over to Mandy and Billie, very best of luck for next year, am right behind you.

- Ladies' Player of the Year was decided today after a very closely fought contest between Mandy and Billie. Mandy took the title, although it was touch and go right up to the end. Many congratulations to you Mandy, you held first place most of the year and managed to fight your way through the final hurdles!! Bad luck, Billie, you put up a really good fight.
Bernadette did really well today with a 36 point finish, well done.
Next week sees the first week of the new season, am still in place as Captain for another few weeks, but Mandy's season has now begun, best of it!!!!!

Cristia Tasker is the Ladies' 2011 Stableford Champion. Well done, Cristina, as always you were a pleasure to play with; you deserved the title for the putt on the 15th, notwithstanding the fact that you held your game steady all the way around!!
Big congratulations to Mandy, also, for your second place.
Next weekend will be fun, I definitely want to play with Mandy and Billie, who are this moment in time tied for POTY, should be a good one!!

Hi Ladies, first I would like to congratulate Andrea on winning the first Summer Singles played by the ladies for many years at the club. Very well played, Andrea, bad luck Billie!
Well done, also, to Mandy and Lynne, who each had 37 points in the Stableford and to Diane for her 36 points.
On to the Mixed Greensomes this weekend, one of my favourite competitions, can't wait; am sure Paul and I can give the rest of you a really good run for your money!!

mmmm...just browsed our POTY leader board...suddenly things are really hotting up. Breda you are so on form at the mo and clearly I will need to pull my ankle socks up over the last few weeks of this season....competition....bring it on!! (am I allowed to sabotage the Lady Captain's clubs at this stage? Being the Lady Vice Captain, surely I can??!)
