Captains Report May 2010

Dear members



The season started with a bang last month with the start of the Summer Knockouts. Thank you to the many people who have entered, the Singles Competition had almost 50 competitors which was great to see.



Our meetings with the new management team have been continuing and here are a few things we have been discussing



  • Course changes. Turning the first into par 4 and lengthening either hole 2 or 4 into a par 5.

Thanks Matt, also I would like to thank you for your time yesterday, it was a great help getting through those games, it would of been a long day otherwish.

Wow - never thoght that moving was going to be such hard work. Yeah, I miss all that divot collection & I dread what TPGC looks like now without all my replacement efforts.
I see Dave's been up to his old tricks - winning I mean , was it the Dave McGibon ?
Is the Night Owls surviving without me and how is everyone?
I haven't played much since I've been here, been too busy but have made a resolution to play once a week from now on (hopefully!)
One course I played was ok if you were a mountain goat but it had good greens,
BTW, when is the Spain trip and have the second installments been paid?
