From the depths of winter to the warm sunshine of spring. What a difference a month makes.
March sees the start of many Interclub competitions for Trent Park Golf Club. We have seen victory in the Daily Mail Foursomes thanks to Mike Smyth and Paul Murphy who beat Leaside GC in March. Not so good news for the Mail on Sunday team who were beaten by Stableford Abbots.
For players playing away in external competition we now have a new facility for recording away scores. The Central Handicapping Database, of which we are now a member, means that by quoting your new National ID (Letters to be sent shortly with your number) your scores will automatically find there way back to TPGC. If you are playing in coming weeks in official external competitions outside of TPGC please let us know.
Local rule change
Finally we have made a change to the out-of-bound markers on the left side of the first hole. The white posts are now the boundary to the course and not the fence. You are now not able to take relief from the driving range fence in any way. Please be aware of this change whilst we get the score cards reprinted with the local rules updated. See below for full detail.
