Captains Update 7 Jan 2012

Happy New Year everyone!

I have some results... Tony has just found my ball from the Captains Drive-In... I can now announce that Mandy was just 7 yards away from the 150 marker (good shot Mandy). This meant James Tighe won the bet for Mandys ball, but my ball mysteriously ended up near the fence miles away? (don't know how that happened) anyway, it meant that Lynwen Bailey won the bet on my ball. 

And now some results of the more serious golf comps...

The Turkey Shoot winner for Saturday was Kristiaan Behiels with 36 points and the Sunday winner was Antonio Ribecca with 35 points - well played in tricky conditions.

The Oakwood Trophy was played during the festive season and congratulations go to Andy Elliot who won with a combined score of 80 points. Joint runners up with 79 points were Trevor Connor, Arvind Kamdar and John Rooney. Excellent scores and very close.

Sunday 15th Jan. is the 2nd round of the Singles comp.

Sunday 22th Jan. is 2nd round of the Greensomes comp.

Sunday 29th Jan is 2nd round of 4BBB comp.

Finally, if you won a comp or scored a Magic 2 last season and haven't collected your prize - you can see me on Monday nights at the club between 7.30pm and 9.30pm to collect your winnings.
