Clarification of Competition Rules

For all club competitions, (Singles, 4BBB and Geensomes) dates have been pre arranged by the Competitions committee at least one month in advance.

These dates, with tee off times, are the last date when the game must be played by.

If for any reason you would like to rearrange the game before that date, you must get agreement with your opponents and then rearrange the game including booking your tee off time.

You must also notify the club so we can cancel the arranged tee off time we booked for you.

If for any reason you are unable to play on the given date and are unable to agree another date for the game, you will forfeit the match to your opponents if they turn up on the given date and you don't.

In 4BBB you can play one against two if your partner can't make the given date.

The club ruling is all games must be played by the date set by the committee and there will be no reasons why an extension will be given.

It was pointed out to me that last year a concession was made to one to two other players who had injuries or doctors appointments. I had to explain that these were mistakes which we can't undo, and this year onwards we are now going to enforce the original club rules.

This is a Competition Ruling. It is not individually made on a whim. It is a committee decision and we will try to be fair and consistent with all our rulings for all club comps.

To recap - Play by the date given by the club or rearrange the game with your opponents before hand or you could be DQ'd.
