Serving its members since 1974
The TPGC Constitution is a document that sets out how the TPGC is run.
Having reviewed the 2010 Constitution, it became apparent that this document was out of date. Having spoken to the proprietor and many of the club members and our committee, suggestions were made on how we could improve club procedures and readability of this document.
Our main objective was to make this a "user friendly" document, so we can all have a clear understanding of our procedures.
It is only at an AGM that any changes to the Constitution can be ratified by a voting procedure.
Due to the number of changes to the existing Constitution, all the proposed changes will be voted for in their entirety rather than voting on each individual change at the AGM.
Ahead of the next AGM on 28 November, the committee invite all members to review the contents of this document, and reply with any comments via email to: secretary@trentparkgolfclub.co.uk (or in writing to Hon. Secretary)
by1st November 2011 latest.
We will try to reply to all your comments and any outstanding issues will be voted on at the AGM.
Foot Note: Clause 28.2 of existing says: 28 days notice (Which is 1st November) of intention to propose any new rule shall be given to the Hon.secretary.
This notice and the Constitution will be posted on the Notice Board.
