Seimens Bowl

Trent Park participated in this NAPGC run competition for high handicap (19+) golfers for the first time this year.

Drawn against Haste Hill our side, under the leadership of John Whelan, accredited themselves well but unfortunately lost by 15 points.  An honourable mention shold go to Tony Defendi and Scott Kyle who managed to accumulate 41 points in their game.  The full team comprised John Whelan (captain) & Barry Holcroft and John Rooney & Mick Griffin playing at Haste Hill and Mike Fever and Dave Langfeld and Tony Defendi & Scott Kyle playing at Trent Park

The Seimens Bowl is a 4BBB Stableford competition for players whose handicap's are 19 or higher.   Teams comprise of 4 pairs, with 2 pairs playing at Trent Park GC and 2 pairs playing at the opposition course, with the combined points scores of all 4 pairs used to determine the winner of the tie.  IF players wish to representTrent Park GC in this competition next year then please either speak to a committee member or sign up when next years team's notice is published on the club notice board.
