Inter Club Competitions

The following are the inter club competitions that we will participate in 2011. Entry Sheets will be put up on the notice boards for members to register their interest in playing for the club and, depending on numbers, there may be a process of selection or qualifying for the team.

Jim McGrath - Recovering in hospital

Jim McGrath is recovering in University College Hospital after suffering a serious stroke. Jim is a former President of Trent Park Golf Club (1993/1995) and is a long standing member. Most, if not all, of the trophies that are in the Trophy Cabinet and that are given out on Presentation Nights come from Jim's London Trophy Company. We wish Jim a speedy return to full health.

Cutting yourself after Saturdays round

Can someone please tell me if the players who play on Saturday are meant to cut themselves if they have a good round, if they are going to play on the Sunday as well?

I have seen some scores with the same handicap on the Sunday, after having a good score on the Saturday.…
