We had a strong team out to play Woodford in the Mail on Sunday today. The game was played as 5 single matches with full handicap difference. Our team was lead by Luke Stephanides with Dave Commerford, Ken Hayes, Paul Murphy and John Cottrim.

The games was tied at 2 and half each after all had played 18, so the games had to go to a sudden death play off…

The long overdue Summer 4BBB final finally took place this sunday and with the start at 7.15am, and with frost on the ground, it certainly felt more like a winter final. By the time the game concluded we were bathed in glorious sunshine and temperatures of nearly 70.

Well played Mike Smyth and Alan Forbes on Thursday in the Daily Mail foursomes Comp -  they won their match by 3&2 and go into the next round very confident.

Also, we must congratulate the Ladies who got to the Final of the Mary Foster Bowl after winning last saturday. Good luck in the final ladies!

I thought I would, at Dave's suggestion, start a Lady Captain's update. While the Ladies' section at Trent Park is small at the moment, it is no less competitive, fun and packed full of exciting fixtures, than any of our nearest rival clubs.
