Well done Trent Park ladies and gents - we are through to the regional final of the Hawtree for the first time in years after beating Basildon 'B' team by 18 points. We now face a tough opponent - Basildon 'A' team who will definately not give us an easy ride! Come on team TP - we can do it!
Sadly Dave Langfield passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning. He had been ill for some time and will be sadly missed. He was a thoroughbred nightowl and many of us have shared some memorable times with him. Our thoughts go out to his family.

In respect to the Drummond and the Trent Park Masters and the lack of clarity regarding qualification to this event the Club Committee decided that, although recent precedent suggests that in cases where Day 2 qualifiers either cannot make, or fail to turn up to, Day 2 no substitutions should be made to the Day 2 field of the Drummond, by extending an invitation to Andy Elliott to take the place of Mike Smyth we the committee have effectively enabled Andy Elliott as a Day 2 qualifier in the…Continue

I hope everyone enjoyed our joint Captains' Day this year, as it must be said, the committee really put a great deal of effort into making this a special and successful occasion.
We had, 80 competitors; dry but windy conditions, and a player who managed to mark the day with a Hole-in-one! Well played Mike Fever! We also kept the entry fee down to just £10 which included a bacon roll and coffee before and Carvery lunch after, which I thought tasted really good (Nice one Vince). On top…Continue
