Hi Matt,

Its not long to go now - only a couple of weeks or so. Do you have any further details re the itinery? From what I remember from the chat with Tony we go Sat to Mon instead of Fri to Sun - is that right? Also what time is k.o on SAT then & is it meet at TPGC?

I'll probably travel up the day before and will have make arrangements to stay somewhere local so I can get there ok.

hello matt again im not frustrated about not playing i was just trying to say it would have been nice to have been emailed or even asked weather i would like to play on sat or sun but im afraid i must have been missed,but what i still dont understand is that im not the only one who missed the final because of this misunderstanding, and january is a long way back to remember such a small change to one final,and to only have 15 to 20 players out of 48 makes me think that there were fewer people able to play on the sat than the sun sorry to keep on and this will be the last time i mention it thanks and see you soon

matt im sorry if this sounds like im moaning but i feel i have to in this case ,as i feel that as a player on a sunday normally, that the change for the stapleford final to be played on the saturday wasnt made clear enough as every other final is played and has been played on a sunday. I feel that if your going to change final's to a day that is'nt the norm it should be highlighted much clearer on the noticeboard i have spoken to other players who either could'nt make it through work obligations or just took it for granted that like before it was a sunday once again sorry to moan but i think it's a valid point

I don't think its a problem as I don't think there aren't many places (and none for a shortarse like me) where the fence actually impedes somebodies swing.

the cards reflect the situation before the white posts came into effect. In the rules there is no relief from obstructions outside the bounds of the course (definition of an obstruction and clarified by descision 24-2b/21

The result was on the board since 10th July! Worth noting that somebody took the original page off the noticeboard one day shortly after our match, and a second version came back with our 4BBB omitted - so I wrote the score on a second time.

Oh is that Taz! he will probably want to play hard ball then with dates... lets hope he wants to tee it up outside of the chosen date like Yoxy & i did for Andy - Cab in 4BBB.
